    2.4-LITER WORLD ENGINE

    Avenger SXT and SE each sport an impressive 2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve World Engine. A joint development between Chrysler, Mitsubishi and Hyundai, it incorporates dual variable valve timing, which allows the engine to operate more efficiently, delivering a 15 percent increase in horsepower.

    2.7-LITER V6

    Avenger SXT delivers more responsive performance with an available 2.7-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 with flex-fuel[1] capability, which helps reduce harmful emissions.

    3.5-LITER V6

    Avenger R/T delivers pure euphoria with a high-powered 3.5-liter high-output SOHC 24-valve V6 partnered with a refined six-speed AutoStick® transmission.
