  • 6.1-liter SRT HEMI® V8 Engine

    Packing 425-horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque at 4800 rpm, this is the highest naturally aspirated specific-output engine ever offered in a Challenger. So pop the hood and watch the jaws drop. Performance-oriented camshaft profiles, with redesigned cylinder heads and intake and exhaust systems, help maximize airflow and increase engine speed. Other redesigned components including a reinforced engine block with increased coolant flow, forged steel crankshaft, high-strength powdered-metal connecting rods, floating-pin pistons and an oil pan that minimizes oil foaming, further strengthen this powerhouse. The HEMI® Orange-painted cylinder block and black valve covers are icing on the cake.
