  • Brake Rotor Size

    Larger. Thicker. Better. Dodge. More material means more grabbing area and more mass to dissipate heat and reduce brake fade while increasing the life of the brake pad. That said, get this… Dodge Ram Chassis Cab trucks have the largest brake rotors in their class[1].

    3500 rear disc brake rotors are 1.18 inches (30 mm) thick with a diameter of 13.87-inches (352.3-mm).

    4500 and 5500 rear disc brake rotors are 1.5 inches (39mm) thick with a diameter of 15.4 in. (390 mm).

  • Antilock Braking System (ABS)

    All Dodge Ram Chassis Cab trucks include a four-wheel antilock braking system (ABS). The electronically-operated three-channel brake control system's technologies optimize safety and enhance performance by helping prevent wheel lock-up during hard braking situations and maintain steering control on slick surfaces.

  • Rear Suspension

    Dodge Ram Chassis Cab trucks have the legs to carry the weight. Its rear suspension is designed to accommodate industry-standard 34-inch frame rail spacing. And, to support the full-rated load, each Dodge Ram Chassis Cab truck includes separate auxiliary leaves as part of the spring package. These contact bumpers on the frame when the vehicle is heavily loaded, helping to keep the body level.
