  • Electrical Provisions

    All Dodge Ram Chassis Cab trucks are engineered to make upfitting a breeze. We use new standard headlamp, dash, and battery positive wiring harnesses that integrate an auxiliary power distribution center (PDC) and related wiring to support upfitter applications. The PDC has provisions for one industry standard micro-relay and three fuses, as well as upfitter-installed circuit breakers.

  • Fuel Tank Locations

    To make your upfit customization easier, Dodge Ram Chassis Cab trucks offer fuel tank location flexibility. Depending on the requirements of your conversion, you can choose from a mid-ship fuel tank location just behind the cab or a rear- mounted location near the back wheels.

  • Limited-Slip Rear Axle

    2008 Dodge Ram Chassis Cab trucks are equipped with All-New rear axles that have been upgraded for maximum durability. The axles are available with 4.10, 4.44, or 4.88 differential gear ratio. Axles for single-rear-wheel (SRW) vehicles have a rear GAWR of 6,500 lbs. The dual-rear-wheel (DRW) axle features a rear GAWR of 9,350 lbs.

    2008 Dodge Ram 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cab trucks utilize a Dana® Spicer® S111 series single-drive axle which provide a higher rear GAWR and enable competitive load carrying capability. Dodge Ram 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cab trucks have an unsurpassed, competition-crushing standard front GAWR of 7,000 pounds.

  • Heavy-Duty Snowplow Prep Package

    When pulling comes to shoveling you won't have to stop working. Upfit your 3500, 4500, or 5500 Dodge Ram Chassis Cab with the optional Heavy-Duty Snowplow Prep Package and the truck becomes a snow removal machine. Package includes transfer case skid plate, 160-amp alternator, and 750 amp battery (with HEMI® engine only; requires Trailer Tow Group; 4x4 only).

  • Trailer Tow Package

    Commercial-grade Dodge Ram Chassis Cab trucks were made for towing and hauling heavy loads. And the Dodge Trailer Tow Package makes towing even easier. The package includes a trailer brake control, seven-pin wiring harness, and more. Dodge Ram Chassis Cab trucks also come with massive, thick front-end tow hooks that feature best-in-class tow hook strength.

  • Rollback Carrier Prep Package

    For rollback carrier upfits, choose the Rollback Carrier Prep Package, which offers additional frame reinforcements.
