In the event of air bag deployment, the enhanced emergency accident response system switches on the interior lamps, unlocks the doors, turns on the hazard flasher exterior lamps and turns the engine off. This helps emergency personnel in their assistance efforts.

An obstacle detection system^[4] automatically opens the available power sliding doors and available power rear liftgate when an obstacle is detected during the closing process.
