Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
When you're looking for optimum vehicle control, the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is one of the best reasons to look at Dodge Ram. This system intelligently uses steering wheel angle, turning rate, lateral acceleration sensors and four individual wheel-speed sensors to determine a variety of appropriate brake and throttle actions—including braking and closing the throttle when necessary. The ESP on Ram actually includes a variety of systems. Hill Start Assist applies the brakes momentarily to prevent roll-back on hills. This is particularly valuable with manual transmissions or during trailer towing. Trailer Sway Control is another ESP system; this uses sensors to apply specific brakes when the system senses pull on the rear end from possible trailer sway—then controls it. [1]

Braking Power
A truck as big and powerful as Ram needs large brakes: huge calipers and rotors (up to 13.9 inches) contribute to stopping power and your peace of mind.
