    Press your key fob and the 2008 Dodge Sprinter doors immediately lock or unlock. This keyless entry feature is standard on all Dodge Sprinter models. Also standard is an engine immobilizer with steering lock and engine management deactivation. This feature means no one can start your vehicle without your key. Any attempt to do so deactivates the engine.

    The optional Antitheft Alarm (ATA) system for the all-new 2008 Dodge Sprinter is based on the standard-fitted central locking system with immobilizer. This extra level of protection includes infrared interior monitoring that detects movement. Plus, its anti-two-away protection system detects any change in the angle of the vehicle. To increase the degree of resistance to tampering even further, the anti-tow-away feature has its own power source; independent of the vehicle battery.
