- Multi-Displacement System (MDS) seamlessly deactivates half of the engine's cylinders in fuel saver mode when less power is needed.
- New variable cam timing (VVT) delivers increased torque and efficiency.
- Stronger hemispherical cylinder heads produce more power, while a new short runner valve active intake manifold increases fuel efficiency[3].
Available 4.7-liter SOHC V8 two-valve engine is proven powerful and durable.
- Single overhead camshafts provide excellent performance.
